As we expand our footprint across the US, we're looking for a proactive and versatile Operations Manager to support our fast-growing team and play a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
The Role:
As the Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence across our US business, ensuring our processes and customer engagements are meticulously executed and continuously optimized. You will report to the US Country Manager and and work closely with cross-functional teams in both the US and our headquarters in France to lead customer support initiatives, manage implementations, drive process improvements, and help streamline daily operations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, is excited by the idea of solving complex problems at the intersection of business operations and software development, and is eager to make a tangible impact in health tech.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Success: Lead and manage customer support and optimize the underlying workflows, ensuring quick resolution of client issues while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
- Implementations and Technical Alignment: Manage the technical onboarding and configuration of new accounts, coordinating with internal teams to ensure that client rollouts are efficient, aligned with technical requirements, and operationally smooth.
- Process Improvement: Identify operational bottlenecks and inefficiencies, and develop solutions to optimize workflows and enhance overall productivity.
- Daily Operations: Collaborate with the Country Manager to support ongoing operations, including team coordination, project management, and resource allocation.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with teams across sales, product, and engineering to support strategic initiatives and ensure alignment with our operational goals.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience: 3+ years in an operations, implementation, or customer success role within a tech environment, ideally in health tech or SaaS. Experience with cross-functional technical integrations and managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects is preferred.
- Technical Acumen: Familiarity with tech tools and integrations, and the ability to work with product and engineering teams on implementation-related needs.
- Detail-oriented and Process-focused: Proven ability to implement and refine processes with a strong focus on accuracy and operational efficiency. You excel at creating systems that improve quality and deliver scalable results.
- Problem Solver: You have a knack for identifying issues and implementing creative, effective solutions.
- Customer-first mindset: You have a passion for delivering outstanding service and building lasting relationships.
- Adaptable: You thrive with remote work in a dynamic, ever-evolving environment and can juggle multiple priorities with ease and autonomy.
Logistics & Benefits
This is a full-time, remote position which will generally work east coast business hours with some flexibility requested to support our west coast clients. International travel to HQ in Bordeaux, France is not required, but is an optional perk.
U.S. work authorization is required and Synapse Medicine does not provide sponsorship.
The base salary for this role is $70k-$90k per year plus a potential performance bonus, stock options, and a comprehensive benefit package including paid parental leave, 30 days of paid time off per year, a 401(k) plan with company matching, health insurance coverage, and more.
The target salary range for this position is part of a competitive total rewards package. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations.
