Our history
In 2017, our co-founders, two doctors and an engineer, were faced with increasingly complex medical prescribing practices, without an adequate solution. That's when they decided to create Synapse Medicine.
Since then
Patients we helped during the Covid-19 pandemic and vaccination campaign
Healthcare professionals we have helped with clinical decision-making
Prescriptions that our solutions touch every year
Patients we have helped with the Goodmed application
Hospitals that use our solutions to secure prescriptions
Clinical studies, including 3 in progress
Our vision
Reliability, personalization and time savings are our key value propositions for both our users (patients and healthcare professionals) and our customers (electronic health records and digital healthcare solutions).
- Reliability by focusing on consolidating our knowledge base, our APIs, our widgets, and by ensuring that we are the best in the world when it comes to medical decision support. And this at every stage of the care pathway: prescribing, dispensing and therapeutic follow-up.
- Personalization by leveraging AI and new technologies now available. The Synapse Copilot widget is our first initiative, with many more to come.
- Saving time for healthcare professionals by integrating our technology wherever it's needed, so that it's available in their workflow and when they need it most. Saving time for our customers by providing them with the best possible integration and maintenance experience.
Our employee commitments
At Synapse, social responsibility is at the heart of our DNA. Our commitments currently revolve around 3 axes:
-
Inclusion and Diversity
including a comprehensive recruitment and onboarding plan, as well as regular events and initiatives to encourage cohesion and balance between employees' professional and personal lives.
-
Health and Fulfillment
through flexibility in the place and organization of work, regular training courses, salary subrogation in the event of illness, a freely accessible gym in the workplace, actions to strengthen the collective, etc.
-
Environmental impact
by taking daily action against over-prescription and over-consumption of medicines (46% of the healthcare sector's CO2 emissions), by favoring train travel, by choosing committed event service providers, by reusing our equipment, by favoring local suppliers, etc.
